Hello guys,

I've been asked to research on GUI automation tools for a software enterprise. They asked me to find a tool that could be able to:

- Record a mouse-keyboard sequence on ASPx and VB 6 screens, which will generate me some results that must be automatically checked
- Query data from a database or a notepad, so it can be used as input to obtain some screen output that also must be checked

Is jBPM suitable for this job?

I would really appreciate your help.

in my opinion it is not designed for what you described. For more details please take a look at jBPM home page

Are you sure? because I've been told that is supposed to do so...
Then, is there any jBOSS product that could do the job?

yeap, I am pretty much sure. Please note that I am talking about jBPM 4.x perhaps someone who told you that was refering to version 3.x
