    Version 3.2 vs 4

      Hi everybody,

I'm deciding to use jBPM versions 3.2.x or 4.0 in our project. It seems that there are many differences between these two versions. Version 3.2x seems to be more stable, on the other hand, version 4.0 seems to have more features. I haven't seen any transition roadmaps from version 3 to 4 yet, so I think we should decide at first steps of our project to use which of these two versions. Could you please guide us in this regard? Which version do you recommend?

      Thanks in advance,

4 is in the works, but probably isnt enterprise ready quite yet. If you have a short time to market, I would say use 3.2x

Thanks a lot Bradsdavis, But what about the version 4 features? It seems that version 4 supports command-based services, database partitioning per process language, and specially full embeddability.

Incase someone comes accross this, the features for jBPM 4 will be rolled into jBPM 5 based on user feedback.  jBPM 3.2.x is the supported JBoss branch.
