Request for more information task

In my process, each task should provide the ability to the user to route to a single group to "request for more information" or work on that task.

I can convert each task to be a sub-process instead and in the sub-process add the "request for more information" task.

Is there a more elegant solution to this problem?

Hi Anil,

What mean is 'request for more information'? It is means that the assignee of task could send the task back to the starter of process and request he to make more information?

Yes thats what I mean. Is there a pattern like this in JBPM or a better solution than using a subprocess?
