ilya_shaikovsky Nov 16, 2007 6:00 AM (in response to jmiguel77)Give concrete examples and it will be fixed. Tree will be checked.
B.t.w. make sure you use latest GA. Or stable later snapshots if possible. -

4. Re: Invalid html in rich faces generated code
jmiguel77 Nov 16, 2007 10:09 AM (in response to jmiguel77)Ok
Some examples
- Every table rendered by the rich:datatable component has the attribute rows="0" in the tag
- The div tag containing the tree component also has a rows="0" attribute
- i am using a firefox tool to determine if the html is valid, This tool is the one saying that the xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.ajax4jsf.org/rich" attribute is invalid for the [div] tag. that attribute is valid for xml coding but i dont think is valid for html coding
- i haven't been able (yet) to determinie in wich cases the [tbody][/tbody] code is produced. I will explore some more code and post the exact case
Also, i am using richfaces 3.1.2.GA
Should i open a new JIRA topic for these or can i update an existing one ??
thanks a lot -

6. Re: Invalid html in rich faces generated code
jmiguel77 Nov 27, 2007 5:47 PM (in response to jmiguel77)sorry for the delay
the empty [tbody][/tbody] problem ocurrs when a dataTable is rendered based on a null or empty collection
the generated code is like this<table class="dr-table rich-table reporte" id="recepcionDocumentoForm:documentosDataTable" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><colgroup span="0"></colgroup><tbody></tbody></table>

jmiguel77 Nov 28, 2007 3:18 PM (in response to jmiguel77)hi:
when a input text is generated for a rich:calendar component, the attribute readonly of this input has the value true; it should has the value readonly (readonly="readonly")<input id="fechaIngresoCalendarInputDate" class="rich-calendar-input " name="fechaIngresoCalendarInputDate" onclick="$('fechaIngresoCalendar').component.doSwitch(); " readonly="true" style="vertical-align: middle; " type="text" />
thanks -

nbelaevski Nov 28, 2007 3:41 PM (in response to jmiguel77)http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/normative.html#well-formed
The XHTML namespace may be used with other XML namespaces. So I do not see any crime to use
xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.ajax4jsf.org/rich"
I've created http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-1450 about calendar
