utf-8 in richfaces components

Hi,

It might seem trivial but I just cant find how to create a dropdown menu
with japanese charcters.

<rich:menuItem submitMode="ajax" value="\u30A2\u30D7\u30EA\u30B1\u30FC\u30B7\u30E7\u30F3" action="#{test.doAction}">

What am I doing wrong ???

Is it possible to use a resource bundle and richfaces will pick the correct locale ?

Will appreciate any help!

Thanks for pointing. There is indeed possibility of i18n problems.

Fixed. Now RF menu supports i18l chars.
You still need bundle to define correct characters, otherwise JSF/facelets will just escape them out.
I tried both \uXXXX and &0xXXX; approaches, but symbols were escaped out. With bundle, everything was fine.
